True hero's do exist among us. They can't fly, have x-ray vision, or wear a cape, they are ordinary people doing extraordinary things. Rick van Beek is one of those people ,who is so devoted to his daughter who has Cerebral Palsy. Rick wanted her to feel the wind through her hair and  the excitement of participating in a Triathlon.

According to The Daily Mail he has competed in a number of Marathons and Triathlons all in the name of Team Maddy, named after his daughter Madison. Van beek wanted Maddy to come with him, because she loves the outdoors, and with a canoe, bike seat carrier, and his own arms they were able to complete the grueling event together.
